Ark Nova Score Calculator

< Back to Ark Nova Map Randomizer

This score calculator strictly follows the rule book for calculating the score. Some apps out there use some other math to calculate their scores, but often have glitches in them. Note, a final score can be negative.

From the Rule Book, page 19: "Begin by looking at the scoring area where your conservation counter is located. Find the lowest appeal value in that scoring area. This is your Target Number. Compare your Target Number to the value of your appeal counter. Subtract your Target Number from your appeal value and the result is your Victory Points. The player with the highest positive Victory Point total is the winner. In case of a tie, the tied player who supported the most Conservation Projects wins the game (you can determine this by counting how many player tokens have been removed from left side of your zoo map). If the score is still a tie, all tied players share the victory."
Appeal Counter (Tickets) Conservation Counter (Shields) Total Conservation
Projects Supported (?This is the total number of Conservation Projects the player supported, including ones that have left play.

This is can be tallied by counting the number of cubes removed from the left side of your player board.

This is only used for tie breakers.
