Results Calculators

There are several different methods for calculating the results. This page explains the calculations.

Advanced Logic (v3)

This version awards various amounts points to each player in a game based on their final placement (1st, 2nd, etc...). The more the players in a game, the more points each placement earns.

Also, it normalizes points awarded for each game by the time it took to play the game. Thus, a 60 minute game will be weighted the same as two 30 minute games in terms of final results.

In addition, game points are also weighted based on each player's experience level at the game. This means an experienced player's points will be handicapped somewhat when playing against a beginner player.

The tournament winner goes to the participant with the most total points, with win percentage being the tie breaker.

Minimal Logic (v2)

This version awards various amounts points to each player in a game based on their final placement (1st, 2nd, etc...). The more the players in a game, the more points each placement earns.

Also, it normalizes points awarded for each game by the time it took to play the game. Thus, a 60 minute game will be weighted the same as two 30 minute games in terms of final results.

The tournament winner(s) goes to the participant(s) with the most total points. There is no tie breaker.

There is no consideration given for players' experience levels.

Basic Logic (v1)

This version simply awards a set number of points to First, Second and Third places for each game played.

The tournament winner goes to the participant with the most points, with win percentage being the tie breaker.

There is no consideration to game times or for players' experience levels.
